Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's film 'Tiger 3' seems to be less than expected at the box office. This film has earned the least on the fifth day and if compared to YRF's previous film 'Pathan', it has lagged behind by more than Rs 300 crore.
The expectations that fans had from Salman Khan's film 'Tiger 3' do not seem to be coming true. The film's earnings have fallen even on its fifth day. Salman Khan's previous film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' was clearly rejected by the audience and after this, everyone's eyes were on this spy universe film of Yash Raj Films. Probably the makers were overconfident about this film that the film fans would fall for it and this is where they made a small mistake. Instead of releasing the film on Friday, the makers released it on Sunday, the day of Diwali. Although, thanks to Salman's fans, the film had a good opening despite it being Diwali, but this weekend would have been even better if the film had released on Friday. 'Tiger 3' is the fifth film of Spy Universe to be released after 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War' and 'Pathan'. There are explosive action scenes in the film and the Tiger-Zoya duo is seen destroying the enemies for the country. However, this film is proving to be below expectations at the box office.
'Tiger 3' earned just this much on the fifth day
According to the report of Sacnilk, while 'Tiger 3' had opened with Rs 44.5 crore on the first day, the film made the highest earning on Monday which was Rs 59.25 crore. The film has earned only Rs 18.50 crore on the fifth day i.e. first Thursday. Overall it has earned Rs 187.65 crore.
'Tiger 3' nears Rs 290 crore, 'Pathan' crosses Rs 542.00 crore
Talking about the worldwide earnings of 'Tiger 3', the film earned Rs 270.55 crore in 4 days, while in 5 days it has touched the figure of Rs 297 crore. However, it is surprising that the film has not touched the figure of Rs 300 crore even in five days. Whereas if we compare it with Yash Raj Films' fourth spy film 'Pathan', this Shahrukh Khan film had crossed Rs 542.00 crore in 5 days. The film had earned Rs 280.75 crore in India in 5 days.
