While we are still talking, Albert reaches Maria's house. After putting the child to sleep, Maria goes out for a walk with her again, saying that she will take her on a time travel. Both reach back home. Maria's husband's dead body is lying on a sofa. Albert who described himself as Dubai Return Architect. Now reveals his real identity. The story takes a turn again and this time Maria meets a catering businessman. Now the question is, what is the relationship between the husband's dead body, Albert and Maria? Who killed? What happened? Well friends, you will have to watch the film.
Katrina Kaif has done the best work of her career in Merry Christmas. Katrina's acting is absolutely perfect. He has understood his character very deeply and has molded himself into it. It is true that she had some trouble speaking Hindi, but it matches with the role. Despite being expressionless, he has won hearts. Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of Albert. If I say in one word, he is the life of the film. His one liners in the film are quite amazing. Like in life, here too he is a natural. The pair of Vinay Pathak and Shriram Raghavan is from Badlapur, they have been useful here also. It's a pleasure to see him on screen after a long time. Radhika Apte is in a cameo in the film, but she is an important link in the story. The work of the rest of the supporting cast is also enjoyable.
Sriram Raghavan Smells Like Old Wine
The movie Merry Christmas is based on a French novel. Shriram has adapted the Hindi version of the French novel La Monte Charge written by Frédéric Da in his own framework. Its Hindi version has been written by Shriram Raghavan along with Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, and Anukriti Pandey. All four have added flavor to the film with their work. The first half of the film will seem slow to you, but in this the film and its characters are gradually established. This has been the specialty of Sriram Raghavan's thriller universe. Talking about direction, it can be said for Sriram Raghavan that he is smelling like an old wine. After 2018, now after 6 years, we have brought Merry Christmas. Sriram has mastered the art of suspense thriller. Which is also seen in this film. How he has established each prop in every scene, frame by frame, is praiseworthy.
You will get Coolness
This film will give a chill to the hearts of the fans of thriller genre. The structure of the film has been similar to Sriram's previous films. Women have always been the focus of his story. Here too, Katrina has shown it in a good way. You can create your own cinematic understanding by watching it.
